Bossa nova is a style of Brazilian music with the use of classical guitars and percussions. It is a combination of jazz and samba, it can be songs in a specific language such as english, portugese, whatsoever. In her case she didn`t just introduced filipinos to this kind of genre but she also made it to become a lifestyle. Bossa nova is not just music, it has something to do with fashion and culture. For me bossa nova is considered a pop culture here in the Philippines. And probably it`s because of her.
